Beef Details

   Our Montana finished beef are raise on grass & alfalfa to butcher date, as their predominate feed, and given 4-5 lbs of all-natural oats and barley each day the last 90-110 days leading to butcher date. We have our beef periodically USDA graded, and most of our beef is graded Choice + to Prime beef! We Dry Age our beef between 14-21 days, and guarantee at least a 14 day age. Our finished beef will hang between 650-700 lbs on the rail, and your cut/wrap freezer weight will be approximately 55-62% depending upon how you request us to cut your beef. But NOTE these are NOT feedlot beef, the 'main' food supply is grass & alfalfa right to butcher date. Unlike feedlot beef, this assures the animal will maintain Omega-3 levels in their meat.

Pork Details

   Our Montana butcher hogs are some of the BEST pork you can buy. Most of our hogs are Yorkshire butcher hogs and we butcher these hogs at 265-290 hoof weight, which calculates to approximately 190-210 lbs carcass rail weight. From rail weight we get approximately 72% cut & wrap weight, depending upon how the customer requests us to 'custom' cut their hog. We don't use any hormones or antibiotics in any of our hogs. In fact, we don' use any hormones in any of our animals. Our animals are free from chemicals and garbage that you will find in the majority of 'store bought' meat.

Bison Details

   Our Bison is locally grown, within 30 miles of our ranch, and purely grass fed. Because of the national growing popularity of Bison meat, and low supply, we stopped selling half/whole carcasses. But we always have on hand Bison primal cuts (ribeyes, t-bones, filet mignon, tri-tip, & top sirloin), stew meat, roasts, short ribs, bison patties, and burger. We sell this at our ranch, but you can find us weekly at our surrounding Farmer's Markets in Helena, East Helena, and Boulder from May through December.

Lamb & Goat Details

   Our Lamb & Goat are locally raised, and we purchase a lot from our local 4-H kids that have worked so hard in finishing their animals. The majority of all of our Lamb has graded out at Prime, and carcass rail weight is approx 67-86 lbs. Cut/Wrap freezer weight is approx 35-48 lbs depending upon your cutting requests. Our Montana Goats rail weight are approx 55-65 lbs, and cut/wrap freezer weights are approx 28-38lbs.
